Whether you’re spending the day at the beach or just want to put a smile on your little one’s face when they open their lunch at school, Go Fish with this fun bento box idea!   Recipe and photography courtesy of Sun-Maid.
Ingredients
  • 2 slices low-sodium deli turkey
  • 1 slice lowfat Cheddar cheese
  • 2 slices bread
  • 2 ounces Sun-Maid® Natural Raisins
  • 2 ounces Sun-Maid® California or Mediterranean Apricots
  • 1/4 cup trail mix
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 1 stalk celery, cut in half
Directions
  1. To make fish sandwiches: Layer turkey and cheese between slices of bread. Use a fish cookie cutter to cut 2 small sandwiches. Attach raisins for eyes and apricots for fin using a dab of peanut butter.
  2. Spread peanut butter onto celery and add raisins. Place in small section of bento box.
  3. Mix remaining raisins and apricots with trail mix. Add to large section of bento box. Place fish sandwiches on top.
