Ingredients
  • 4 premade turkey sausage links
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 ablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 whole wheat pitas
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1 avocado, sliced
Directions
  1. Prepare turkey sausage according to package directions.
  2. Scramble eggs in small mixing bowl.
  3. Heat butter in skillet on medium-high heat; add eggs, stir and cook 2-3 minutes, or until firm and not clear.
  4. Slice pita in half and toast.
  5. Assemble pitas by adding eggs, sausage, tomato and avocado.
Suggested Sides
1 dried fruit granola bar 1/2 cup apples, pineapple and blackberries
