Zac's World Adventure

Congratulations Zac!! On June 14, 2008, Zac Sunderland set sail from Marina del Rey, California, on a global expedition that saw him cross three oceans, five seas and making landfall in four continents. Zac returned to Marina del Rey, CA on July 16, 2009 becoming the first person under the age of 18 and the youngest to solo-circumnavigate the world!

Produce for Kids, along with Shuman Produce and Mastronardi Produce/SUNSET® are proud to sponsor Zac’s courageous journey. Each company agreed to sponsor Sunderland’s trip because he is an inspiration to kids everywhere that they can follow their passion, work hard and make any dream possible.

Over the course of the past year, Sunderland, aboard his 36-foot-sail boat the Intrepid, has had his share of great adventures while also enduring storms, mechanical problems, rogue waves and pirates.
