Apple & PB Wafflewich

This recipe is super easy for kids to make.  The result is a tasty breakfast treat, snack, or dessert!

Serves: 2
Preparation Time: 10 minutes

  • 2 frozen cinnamon apple waffles
  • 25 miniature marshmallows
  • 2 Tbsp. reduced fat peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup apples

Directions:

  1. Toast waffles until desired doneness.
  2. Heat marshmallows and peanut butter, covered, in a microwave-safe dish 2 minutes or until melted; stir until blended and smooth.
  3. Spread mixture on 1 waffle. Arrange caramel apple slices over peanut butter mixture; top with remaining waffle.  Slice wafflewich into quarters to serve.
